Terms and Conditions

By proceeding with an order, we assume that you accept the terms, conditions and care requirements

Manufacture:

The photos used throughout the website are intended for illustration purposes only. Due to the nature of the lighting there may be slight colour variations compared to the item that is delivered. Wood and resin samples can be ordered through our shop page. After placing an order please ensure you check your junk email folder if you have not heard from us within 3 days.

Each piece of wood is unique with features which may differ from the images throughout this site and our social media accounts. When I am choosing materials for your order, I take great care to match the materials sympathetically.

During the resin casting process, there can be instances where tiny air bubbles become trapped in the resin. This will not affect the integrity or quality of the finished product.

Encapsulation of special memory:

After receiving your request / order, I will contact you initially via email to discuss your exact requirements.

Once the design has been agreed and payment has been received, I will request that you send the item to me. At this stage, postage and insurance is entirely the customer's responsibility. All items should be carefully and securely packaged. Please place your name and contact details on a card inside the box so that I can identify them upon receipt. I will get in contact with you upon receipt of the package, from here I will design your bespoke piece, keeping you informed throughout, with shipping details forwarded upon completion.

In the case of flowers and plants place them in water for a minimum of 2 hours prior to packaging, preferably in a cool spot. Individually wrap the stems in a damp tissue, then in tin foil to prevent the moisture coming into contact with the heads. The tissue should be damp but not soaked. Using a suitably sized package, arrange crumpled up newspaper or packing material around the flowers so that they sit slightly upright. Ensure that the lid does not squash the contents once closed. Clearly label the package "fragile fresh flowers" and ensure the top is clearly marked. Send next day delivery if possible. As soon as the flowers / plants are received, I will begin the drying process. If I feel the condition of the items are not suitable I will get in touch. It may be that they have been cut for some time and not stored correctly causing them to wilt. If I am happy with the flower condition, the drying process can take up to ten days. During this time it is important to bear in mind that there may be minor changes to the appearance of the flower / plant. The colours and textures may vary as they dry, this is a natural process that is outwith my control.

Cancellations and Returns:

Once the manufacturing process has started, it will not be possible to change or cancel your order. Up until this point, changes can be made on request.

If you have sent memorable item(s), and subsequently cancel before the process has started, it is the customer's responsibility to cover any postage and insurance costs if they wish to have the item returned.

Bespoke / commissioned pieces cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged. However, if there is a fault with your item, please get in touch immediately to allow me to provide a solution.

Aftercare:

Products should be dusted regularly. Do not use any chemicals when cleaning your items, any spills are to be cleaned with a damp cloth using warm water and dried immediately afterwards to prevent staining.

Although resin is non-toxic, please do not prepare food directly on the resin surface. Where stated that our solid wood cheese boards are "Food Safe", these are not suitable to rest hot items directly on top of the surface. The heat can draw the oil from the board, leaving a lasting mark.

Only "Food Safe" listed products should be used to prepare / present food.

Only products listed as "Heat Safe" are recommended for use with hot items up to 180°. Resting hot items such as candles and crockery directly on the resin may damage the finish.

Do not leave candles burning unattended or for extended duration, tealights should be burnt in their metal casings.

Items should only be used for their intended purpose, as stated in the description. Items should not be used to support the weight of a person or left with young children unattended.

All of our resin offers high UV resistant characteristics. However, please avoid positioning them in direct sunlight.

If you do mark or damage your item throughout its lifetime, please get in touch and I'll be happy to provide a quotation to restore.

If at any time you wish to expand your collection, I can colour match to your initial order.
